First of all, my thoughts are always that you've had wine with dinner. Second, Japan? What? When? Why? Where did this all come from? New place...not heard of. Third, I understand the need to tell people how you feel about things that are going on in their lives. As their friend, you have the right and the necessity to do so. I think that as far as your sister is concerned that you should share with her your happiness of spending time with just her and how you feel that it makes you closer. As far as Ron is concerned, you've told her how you feel and obviously nothing is going to change and you just have to accept that. Believe me...there have been so many times where I've wanted to lecture my brother, but once was enough and no more amount of it will change anything except the negative turn our relationship could take. I think it's time to start focusing on the positive things between you and your sister and not so much on the fact that the guy she is going to marry is a loser.
