i remember so clearly when you were diagnosed. i didn't even know you, but i sobbed and sobbed for hours when i first heard. i yelled at my family when they tried to comfort me: "you don't understand! you'll never understand." i couldn't even imagine one more person was going to have to go through what i went through every day. my heart broke for you. but here you are! and you're doing fine. we're all just living.
so congrats! another year is an amazing accomplishment. don't forget it.
