I believe Seigaku's Momoshiro was able to procure additional blankets by asking either Hanamura-sensei or Kantoku.

Alternately, Echizen is a willing donor.

I've lived here most of my life, so I think I'm just used to the winters here. It beats Hokkaido, anyway.
