I am a vegetarian. In any case, I was never a "mutton" fan - even when I used to eat meat, chicken or beef were my picks, and never too much. I couldn't process meat - exceed a (small) sausage and my stomach will go for a toss! And, I don't even want to talk about sea food!

Mythology is poetry. It is not a story, it may relate to some events around that time, however the true meaning is revealed when you look through it. Why did Ravana have 10 heads? Have you seen anyone with that description in your entire life? Or for that matter have you seen any of the other fantastic creatures described in Ramayana. The answer is no. Then is Ramayana useless ( ... )

True. But how many of us take it in that light? A muslim stranger I happened to talk to drew similar parallels about how the 'wars' and punishments mentioned in the quran are merely references of past incidents. Sorry, maybe for you, wise man. But the vast majority are going to literally interpret it. They will smear their faces with the colours of the bajrang-dal and go demolish the masjid while the other side will easily draw parallels to incidents mentioned in the quran and take up their swords too.

Religion, the world would be a much better place without it, do you still wanna argue for it? Please.
