Project number 146.2 was a little slate patio by the back door, with a light green metal glider on it that had been a bitch and a half to put together.  Jeep was out there, napping in a patch of sun.  He snaked his head up at them as they trooped out, balancing babies and bottles, and gave a little sigh, then uncurled himself and flapped up onto ( Read more... )

Yay! :D I love reading more of this. omg, it is so terribly sweet. (And HOT!)

I love all the thoughtful details and background; it was interesting to see how politics came into play. "The system has been activated" was great.

Thank you for writing and sharing more!

Thank you! Well, it was a long gap (seems I posted Don't You Dare Close Your Eyes back in November!) but it did feel like I needed to get Hakkai and Gojyo a little more resolution. Sex and paperwork.

Am actually toying with the idea of a toddler!fic sequel, to be called "No One to Tell Us No." I blame my sons.

It's the slice of life parts that underscore how awesome this is. All the people they meet and how Gojyo knew prior who's eyes narrowed in the sun and all that. Wow. It's beautiful work.

Simply wonderful. Thank you for sharing. I always get so drawn in by your writing that I forget that I'm reading. When the story stops there is always a moment of blinking while I adjust and the pictures fade. Though that last scene with a pointy eared vine adorned Hakkai (with baby) walking next to Gojyo (also with baby) and followed by a low flying Jeep, is going to stick with me for awhile. *happy sigh*
