Love this, if you wanted to slove the problem of the retcon you could have her wake up with him and he promises to drive her home. She sips the stuff before she gets home then she lets him in before she falls asleep and voula she's asleep in her own house with no memory. Beautiful story you did a lovely job

I like that idea for the ending. Honestly, I was happy with this (I still am) and that comment just totally threw me because I wasn't thinking that way. Thanks for the idea, though. Also, thanks for reading and commenting.

Hi. I've read this fic several times, but I haven't left a comment, since my feelings are . . . mixed. I guess that's why it's stuck in my crawl, and I've kept coming back to it.
I love the characterizations of and interactions between Jack and Rose. I like how the story changes from burning hot porn to melancholy regret at the end.
However, I keep having the same problem that wendymr did: That there's no way Rose wouldn't have though she'd been given the date-rape drug.
Have you ever considered redoing this fic, perhaps with Jack giving Rose retcon in her morning coffee as he drives her home?

I did consider it after wendymr's comment. And again after andromeda05 made the morning after suggestion. Since you're the third person to suggest this (and the more I think about the ending, the more I agree), I am going to revisit this fic and see what I can do with the ending. Thanks for your comments.
