I now have thighs of steel and the best T-shirt 3 squid can buy, I mean who doesn't want a 'Beam me up Scottie' T-shirt in bright yellow!

I'm sure I've missed stuff and I'm sure I'll be going "drat" too but hey-ho that's what pokes are for!

My trip was super! The cottage was lovely - the river Tweed was on the (front)door-step and a rolling forest was at the back-door and you could hear the silence, except for this morning when I went to the loo and a bat decided to swoop around my head and I screamed like a big girl's blouse.

We did lots of family-sporty things....Biking, Golfing, Horse-riding, getting totally lost in a maze and lots of un-sporty things,like eat far too much ice-cream but the best thing was that none of us fell out!

The river Tweed! My goodness, that sounds so British, I LOVE IT!

And oh, my, I'm sorry to laugh at what is sure to become known as The Bat Incident, but... *giggles*

I'm so glad you had a great time. The place you were in: river in the front, woods in the back, sounds so awesome - peaceful and quiet. (mostly!)
