I just hope the Twelfth Doctor swears a blue streak at the least provocation. It would be amusing to see my mother's reaction.

Mmm, not sure how I feel about Capaldi. I don't think returning to an older doctor is necessarily a bad thing (at the rate they were going the new doctor was in danger of being a zygote) but well, if I had to pick someone from Local Hero I'd personally opt for Denis Lawson (maybe that would be too old though ;).
