I didn't sleep very well last night...twinges of cramping in my abdomen. I feel like doctors are trying to convince me that I'm supposed to be in pain. Although I think they are just puzzled and I'm just as paranoid as I was the first bite I took of meat after being strictly vegetarian for 7 years. You kinda start thinking you might just explode ( Read more... )

Why aren't you a vegetarian anymore?

I'm too damn picky!!! I was a horrible vegetarian that ate mostly fried foods and lived off of carbs...I felt like crap 90% of the time :(

That sucks. I feel much better being one. I'm a lot more careful about what I eat than when I did eat meat. It's not as convienent to be a vegetarian, which forces you to eat better if you know what to eat, etc.

You don't eat McDonalds do you? hehe

No. I actually really HATE to eat out at all. I make all of my food at home. No caffeine (essentially-just one cup instant decaf coffee a day), sugar, bread, white flour, or corn starch types of food. Just meat, veggies, fruit, nuts, cheese and a few occasional diet sodas. My problem was migraines. After my diet changed, so did my migraines :) I'm also a bit different in that I have a strong family history of obesity, hypertension, and adult onset diabetes (due to obesity). I don't want to go there, so I'm pretty anal about my diet/lifestyle!

You shouldn't...it isn't good for your health!! Keep in mind...I spend the majority of my time IN a hospital. If I needed help, there is plenty of it!! Besides, I'm not in any pain whatsoever :)

Heh. I didn't think of that. heheh. Okay, I feel better now. I just know that stuff is serious, and I don't want anything bad to happen to you.

Thanks :) I'm not just being stubborn, I promise. I think I take pretty good care of myself. It is just ridiculous to me to undergo a surgery they can't be sure will correct what I supposedly have wrong with me even though I have NO pain at all. Fortunately, the surgeon agrees with my logic!
