Something that I never understand is that mentors and friends with relation to academics always make the reference of me being "special". What the hell does this mean??? I'm starting to believe I serously mislead people into thinking I'm something that I'm not! I just got an e-mail from a supervisor who continually marks me down for "not having

I was just called special last night from this woman I was talking to. She wanted my number just to see what I'll be doing in 5 years, aka turn 30.

Anyways, sorry about that supervisor. I don't find you come across that way at all, meaning I never think you would talk about something you didn't have knowledge about and profess to know more than you actually do.
