Portland birthday weekend & school....

Had a good time this weekend in Portland for the birthday party! It was great to see so many people that I haven't seen in years!! choralone23 looks absolutely fabulous!!! it's wierd but cats seem to almost like it when subcutaneous fluids are given... I wonder of it feels cool and relaxing...and then they run around with a camel hump ....... whoa you can deduct student loans?! that is AWESOME!!!

To clarify, you can deduct the INTEREST you paid towards the student loans in that year that you are filing your taxes. I have quite a bit of student loan debt, thus I pay quite a bit of interest as a result.

Yow! That must be like trying to hold onto a bag of angry snakes. Is this worm medicine?

Worm medicine? No. It is lactated ringers aka fluids with electrolytes. She's actually pretty good about it, thankfully :)

Lam was telling me about how she used to work at an animal shelter and they'd have to use the syringe to force-feed worm medicine to cats when they first come in. Most of these are strays, so they're none too friendly about it. That's gotta be tough work.

It's good that your cat is taking it well.

Eww! That doesn't sound like any fun, force feeding worm medicine. Fortunately, I didn't have to shove this down her throat, it went via a needle that I placed beneath her skin. Forcing even her to take something by mouth wouldn't be pretty-she screams as if I'm murdering her!

Any leads on Portland?
