Btw, for the record...I apparently have a real issue reading about how rats and monkeys are induced to have cardiac problems so that we can test these new radiopharmaceuticals (nuc med imaging agents). Yuck! I HATE the research aspect of it...I always have :(

I totally am with you on that.... my brother in law was working on his PHd and did some studies on Parkinsons disease.... they would give something to the monkeys that made them move in slow motion... one time they got a shipment in from africa, two of them, in the night one of them escaped his cage and found his friend...it took him like 5 hours.... after working in the lab my bro in law became vegetarian, quit his project and school and now owns a bike shop it bothered him so much....

I don't blame him a bit...I'm sure I would have ended up doing the same. It is one thing to try and correct something that is already wrong, but another thing to INDUCE a problem and then torture them while you try different theories. Sad. Very, very sad :(
