I can see how getting an IV in is important. I know that any time I see a needle in my flesh, the very little color in my skin completely vanishes and usually so does my balance -- its fair to say I'm not an ideal patient!

Good pic of you btw!! Hmm...so I guess I don't get to practice with your veins either, huh!! Dammit! What is it with men and IV's? Especially when they have INCREDIBLE ones?!!

Thanks! Tawnly took it at a cemetary in Paris in 2003. (I'm blonde now.)

Tell ya what, you may have my veins when I'm dead. But *all* needles bother me. Probably why I don't sew. Hmmm, come to think of it, I'm not too keen on any sort of blade.

Hey, thanks :) Sorry I couldn't join you for your night out on Tuesday...I figured with my shift starting at 5:30 AM as well as one of the most important interviews of all times, it probably wasn't a good idea!

No worries! I know you can't usually go out on "school nights" anyway. :)

I can and do if it is just a school night from work...but it's a whole different story with clinical and being in the running for a position there. Also, the 14 hour days generally make me rethink getting too adventurous!! Some day I'll be able to return to those days!

*twitches. I remember the only time I had an IV in my hand was when I woke up after I had my tonsils came out. I looked down, and told the nurse I had to go to the bathroom. I ended up missing the toilet and hitting my mom instead with the vomit. The only good thing about that mess was that it got that IV out of me.

Anyways, I'm glad you're doing well. :) I hope you get the job, as I'm sure you will. :)

Thanks for the encouraging thoughts...I *really* hope I get it too!!!

The IV thing doesn't bother me in the least bit...I handle needles just fine. Which is why probably I haven't any problems with piercings :)

I don't have a problem with piercings either, except the navel one...*twitches
It's moreso the dealings with blood that bother me.

Anyways, I really do admire that you're able to do this everyday. And I'm sure you will get that job! Why do you ask? B/c you're awesome! :)
