My pediatric rotation end yesterday and I heard probably one of the most fucked up comments a parent could say to their 3 year old terrified child following an IV and laying beneath a camera immobilized for 30 minutes..."See, kids always leave here alive"!! I kid you not!! It was no wonder that this poor kid was completely insanely hysterical.

Thanks for info! I actually don't have her number, however, I sent her ours and told her to call if she felt up to hanging out or doing something once she got into town. I'm not really sure that we will hear anything from her...perhaps she's got plans of her own, or just needs some time to herself? At any rate, we are both available, but not pushing her.

I'm a big fan of steampunk stuff, so the name just sort of came to me the other day. Been planning a username change for a while, just never got around to it till yesterday.
