Return of the music meme!
Since agent_of_pelor passed on the previous meme, I'll return the favor and do his new one.
Open your playlist and pick songs that start with each letter of your username, but the songs have to mean something to you. Don't just pick a song because it starts with a letter in your username. Post the list to your journal, if you want you can explain why the songs are important to you, but it's not required.
1. S: "St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion)" by John Parr (I remember this one playing a lot when I was a kid. It gets me energized.)
2. U: "Down Under" by Men at Work (Cheating a bit, but I have no songs starting with U. Also falls under the eneregizing category.)
3. O: "One Of Us" by Joan Osbourne (Sums up my thoughts on God well enough.)
4. N: "Sister Christian" by Night Ranger (I HAVE NO SONGS STARTING WITH N. So we'll go with artists that start with N. This songs justs speaks to me. ...that sounds lame. Nonetheless, it does.)
5. Y: "You May Be Right" by Billy Joel (I just love this song. It suits my ROMANTIC dream, as one might say. ...clearly my romantic dream has a heavy undercurrent of irony, but that's irrelevant.)
6. M: "Mother and Child Reunion" by Paul Simon (This one makes me cry.)
7. O: "One Week" by the Barenaked Ladies (I ♥ this song very much.)
8. N: "Wonder" by Natalie Merchant. (See above. Why couldn't I have two B's in my username? I have plenty of B songs... Anyways, this is my "feeling good about myself" song.)
9. A: "Africa" by TOTO (It's intense. It also suits my romantic dream, but with less irony.)
