Iona campaign session 17
Posting this one finally. I've been busy. ^_^;;
Luna salvaged the mind-control crown to use as evidence that Andriarch was innocent of murdering his brother. After making their way back up through the pits, the group was ambushed by a pair of harpoon spiders that they took care of easily. They arrived back on the surface, and after rejoining with Robbo and the others, decided to take some time to regroup and strengthen themselves. Garrander powered his axe, Cheebo gathered some elves as followers, and Nasira summoned herself a unicorn mount named Erasmus.
That night, Lydda had a dream where two nameless spirits offered her their gifts in response to Elodar's death. One offered her the strength to find inner peace; one offered her the ability to seek revenge. Lydda in her grief went for revenge, but was horrified when she realized the spirit she had chosen was in fact Nascondu. In the morning, the whole party was greeted by Selphie's happy yelps - she had grown mysterious black wings during the night.
Tomorrow: The hunt for Josceline, and a new challenger arrives! Also? LOOT!
