I'm getting a dog! yay! my roommate is going home this weekend to bring the family dog to live with us. His name is Kobie (not named after the bball player), and he's a mini dachshund, and he kind of looks like this (i think - i haven't met him yet):

no, seriously - i was in princeton one day and actually saw an older lady carrying one of these with her dog - it freaked me out and i was like, "huh? you're dog's carrying case cost more than my freakin car payment. you suck." and it's true - that damn bag is $299!

i'm not too familiar with the breed... before this pooch, i've had a golden retriever and 2 rotweilers (which i absolutely love!). so, i'm gonna have to do some research to learn about his peronality, needs, and all that good stuff...

i am so friggin excited - i've wanted a dog for the last 2 years, but didn't have anyone to help take care of one.. now that i have a roomie who wants one, it's all good... :-)

i probably won't be around this weekend. :-( right now i have a trip planned to miami, but that could change - i'm following the path of hurricane frances...

but dude, seriously, we need to plan for dinner - it's been like, almost a month and a half since i saw ya'll. roomie is all moved in, and at least the first floor is unpacked, so we can start using my kitchen again. :-)
