Back in Atlanta and loving it
This has been a really energy filled weekend. I haven't slept in my apartment since Thursday night...fun times. After Boondocks i'm passing out.
Last night Shaya and I hung out with my cousin Derrick and his friend from Savanah, Phil. (Phil on the left, Derrick on the right). We went out to Tw!st for drinks and music, we weren't expecting 80's music but it worked out any way.

After Twist we hung out at Derrick's apartment and toasted to cork and wine. Sorry kids didn't think to take pictures.
Once we woke up we had breakfast and decided to tour the Underground.

As usual the Underground had animals on display. Today there were birds of paradise, Cocatoos and Parrots and an Owl. Question: Why can owls turn they're heads all the way around? There maybe a prize if you can answer the question. The caption reads "Please don't touch the birds! Ask for Assistance!" Why was fill waiting for a reinactment of The Birds

After that we tried to go to CNN but got lost and ended up going to lunch at Jersy Mike's way out somewhere behind IKEA. We watched the last quarter of the Colts v Steelers game (poor Payton Manning). After lunch we made another attempt at CNN. Success! This is the Atrium.
The longest free standing escalator in the nation...that's what the security gauard said, right?

Guess who I saw? One of my favorite Imaginary Friends from Foster's Home--Wilt! It was great to see him. He didn't know where Eduardo was which made me kind of sad. But he did point out that we were wearing the same shoes :)
We kept trying to sneak upstairs to see the brodcasting rooms but there were no tours today and we had to pay $8...uh no. We did eventually make it upstairs but it was just a bar that over looked Centennial Park and the Arena. It was an overall nice end to a fun weekend.
Watch Stroker and Hoop Sunday nights on Adult Swim after Boondocks because Derrick will now be an animator on the show! Yeahhhhh Booooooiiiii
