I just got VTP to work on 2 switches. Sweet. That allows the automatic configuration of VLANS, which are separate networks. It makes it easier to move one computer from one switch to a different one.

Mental note:

show vtp status
Make sure the configuration revision of the vtp client switch is lower than that of the vtp server switch.
