Rules Post
I think we need to lay down some rules. I understand that this community is coming together bit by bit and that because of my quick posting and lack of organisation for the first challenge, some people weren't able to get it in on time.
So, the rules (which will be updated):
1. To join, you must first submit a comment following the instructions to the joining post. (To be linked at a later date.)
2. All members must be active in the community, taking part in challenges and commenting on others'.
3. If you are unable to complete a challenge, for any reason, you need to tell a maintainer, by commenting on the Mission Post. If you are unable to complete a series of challenges, leave a date of when you can start again and you will be exempt until then.
4. If you do not complete a challenge and do not tell a maintainer, you will be marked off the rewards list for that series.
5. If you do not complete all the challenges in a series and do not tell a maintainer, you will be reviewed for membership. If you continue to do this, you will be removed from the community.
6. If you wish to leave the community, for any reason, please do not leave suddenly and without notice. Send me an email at kidskilly(at)gmail(dot)com. You do not need to explain why. If you wish to leave for a short time, to return afterwards, send me an email and I will set up an open invitation for you to rejoin the community when you wish to.
7. Please don't bitch. Gossip about LJ people is not permitted. This will lead to your membership being reviewed and possibly removal from the community.
8. Hatred towards race, gender, sexuality, lifestyle choices or just hatred in general will lead to immediate removal from the community. No exceptions.
Remember, we are here to create a safe little haven that people can come to and create about bandom. You can express your opinion, but remember that others may think differently to you. Tact is the key word.
