Take care of your animal before telling us another is not allowed. Why should we be limited because of your shitty choices of a pet

You should talk to your roommates seriously and discuss the option of you getting a cat, if you really want one. Just say how they have a cat and you really miss having your own cat...say you'll take care of it, separate it from their cat if necessary...maybe say how you don't understand how they can have a cat but not you? I dunno. Maybe you've tried this already.

Living with roommates is hard, hard work, I can vouch for that.
