For work purposes, I'm going to The Pub in Crestview Hills sometime during the day. It's British pub, but they're having some crazy-huge St. Patrick's Day mini-festival from 9 a.m. until 1 a.m. A Guinness truck, a huge heated tent with live music and general merriment. Also, according to the press release, authentic Irish meals and no cover.
that sounds like fun, i have never been there and really want to go see what it is like there. it is going to be really fucking crowded though, and it will be hard to convince michael to go. especially since i have to work until 6.
Im up for going to the pub, It should be a good time. No offense to Jessica but I would rather shoot my own foot then go to Tostado's on one of the biggest drinking nights in the year.
my aunt's irish band is playing at claddagh from 3p-6p so if todd gets off work on friday we're going there but if not maybe we'll come to the pub cuz that sounds like fun!
claddah's could be fun also though! Hmmm...I really don't care where I go as long as its not tostado's or any other hole in the wall bar where its just going to be a bunch of rednecks.
At least you guys won't be in Alabama in the middle of nowhere. I doubt they've even heard of St Paddy's Day! On top of that, I'm with Dad, who isn't much of a drinker; God love'm! I better get in, they owe me for this shit!
And might I add: this discussion string is very hostile. Every one chill out, pull up a nice lager of your choice, and relax. Throw in some philisophical discussions and anywhere is an acceptable genuine Irish pub.
