It is amusing, that you feel pressure to live stealth, my partner (also a transguy) were just discussing how people have put a lot of pressure on him to be "out", as he is a prominent therapist in our city and many other transpeople feel it would help our "cause", (I'm not sure exactly what the cause is and I'm not sure the people that are doing the pressuring do either, but I digress) I appreciate, the fact that you feel pressure in the opposite direction. I think the feeling of pressure on all sides is due at least in some part of societies growing awareness of "trans-ness" and its attempt to quantify and catalog the "new" phenomenon. It seems analogous to the discovery of gay culture by the mass media in the 70s and 80s, every gay guy was assumed to be nellie and every lesbian a truck driving man-hater. Sure, some gay people are like that but not most. I think trans people regardless of personal identification doesn't want their particular beliefs to be lumped together with a set of preconceived notions that the population at large

Maybe I'm missing something, but wouldn't changing in a men's locker room pretty much ruin any stealthness (assuming by stealth you're meaning presenting to the world as somebody born XY) that one may have?
I wish you would reconsider dropping me as a friend? all because of a difference of opinion over a Hollywood Film? You could say that LEd Zeppelin suck and give me all the reasons why they suck and would never think less of you as a human being. Give me the same respect I would afford you.
