I've been waiting a while already (Kaitlyn said that she would have Ethan post an update in the afternoon regardless of the outcome, and regardless of whether she was all done or not). Kaitlyn had told me that if I hadn't heard anything by 5 or 6 at the LATEST, I should call the useless number she gave me.
Considering Kaitlyn invited me to phone (although she rightly suggested that I wait until Wednesday or Thursday to phone her directly, since she'll be out of it for some time after the operation itself), I would appreciate the contact information. I'll wait a few hours before actually using it, though, just in case Ethan's at dinner or hasn't gotten the information himself.
TO be honest, he's not my biggest fan right now for obvious reasons (although I quite like him), so I don't expect he's all that quick to update me personally. So this is all my roundabout way of saying that yes, I would appreciate the information. Thanks; it means a lot to me.

yeah...she'll be pretty fucked up until sometime tomorrow most likely, then it gets a bit more lucid. but the day of surgery most of us barely remember much of, and the day after is also spent in a demerol haze. IIRC the routine is that one goes from Hosp. to Rez on Thursday if they had surgery on Monday. at that point one is feeling a bit more human and "there" again.
