I've got to say that for once I barely noticed Valentines Day. Usually if I'm not dating anyone- and there have only been two years when I was- I'm all like, "Oh, poor me, I am all alone!" But this year it was like, "Oh yeah, it's Valentines Day, that's funny, I totally forgot ( Read more... )

Heh, I don't think I was ever that sad that I was single. I was just jealous that I wasn't getting flowers :)

Yeah, that's a good point I was probably more jealous of all the girls getting the flowers and candy and candle lit dinners and so on.

That's the best way to be; then you're never let down by not getting what you wanted or having your boyfriend buying you the same thing that you just bought yourself!!

sadly, that kind of happened to me. All day long I kept seeing GORGEOUS roses and was so excited to get mine. Well, Rick comes home and he has a bouquet in a vase...tulips, carnations, and daisies. It's beautiful, but after seeing roses all day I was expecting them. Rick said that's what he wanted to get but by the time he gets out of work, they looked reallly sad. So I love what he got me...I love tulips and I have a new vase! :)

The funny thing is that I don't really care what flowers I get. I think it was just seeing them all day put them in my head. Oh, and he got me wine and shrimp :) He knows me so well.
