I'm tired. I'm so glad it's Friday. After today I'll have worked about 47 hours, and it's only my first week! Each day goes by pretty fast, luckily

There is a very large movement, Crichton included, that believes that global warming IS NOT currently happening

I don't know. There just seems to be SO much evidence for global warming. And the human population of the earth has increased so much in the past 100 years, and we've physically changed the Earth so drastically, that it seems to me like that could be enough to alter some of the natural changes the planet would otherwise be going through. The ecosystem has never experienced such an onslaught of distruction before- can it really be functioning normally with this "plague" of humanity

Just keep in mind, where there might 6 billion people on the planet, think of how many individual insects there. Its an uncountable number.

Can anyone say insects have had no effect on the planet? Of course not.

I got to go there with Ryn for GD Pros. They were throwing a huge party and wanted "pretty people" in the crowd. It was a really good time! Did you end up going?

No, I ended up taking it easy this weekend. I'll get there eventually, I'm sure. How did you like it? What is the atmosphere like?

It was a lot of fun! But, we didn't have to pay for anything so that was really cool and we got free VIP passes too... plus, it was a party, not just a regular night so maybe it was different...

It seemed like it would be cool anytime though - there was a lot of room to dance!
