Lambo had resorted to carrying Val on his back once they were out of her room. Her feet were cut, which was one of his concerns, along with the fact that she didn't seem to be able to stand without wobbling.
Of course, his mind was on other things. How long had this been going on with her? She seemed to be affected by the drug rather quickly, and from the information the police back in Esthar had given him, it seemed it was some time. But was it before he met her? After? Val had been scared earlier, that much was for certain. Something like this certainly changes your perspective on people.
He shifted her a bit as they finally reached the infirmary, knocking on the door. "Professor Solaris, are you in?" Please let her be in. He didn't know if he could deal with this by himself...
