So Today Was Interesting...

I had my senior pictures today. I went with a freelance photographer because I liked her work and her prices were good. My mom and I went to her house to take my year book picture, and then we (including Retha, the photographer, and her husband) all went to Detroit. I got my pictures done at three separate places; The Heidelberg Project, Hart Plaza ( Read more... )

Moral of the story, if you see a creep taking your picture, rip the device out of his hand and smash it.

Unless he calls the cops and they arrest you for willful destruction of private property.

Since he was following you for awhile, you should have called the police. Stalking is illegal in all 50 states.

It was just a joke kind of thing xD; I wouldn't actually do that, trust me. The guy that was with us was legal authority-enough to get him arrested if he really wanted to, but considering we were customers he didn't want to make that big of a deal out of it. Not to mention the guy got away. But Retha took a picture of his face so my mom is going to send it in to the police department so they can keep an eye out.

She should definitely send the photo to the police. My guess is that the carousel is one of his hangout points - they can probably catch him taking photos of other girls. What a douche.

God that is SO creepy. I totally would have beat his ass. And yeah I know beating him up or smashing his phone would have been grounds for assault on your part but wtf, if you feel threatened, you have the right to defend yourself. @___@;; especially if he ended up getting touchy-feely. Some creeper touches me, I'd kick his ass. Taking photos would piss me off but apparently it's not technically ~illegal~ because it's a public place or some crap. (My friend who was a journalism student did a report on this a while ago and posted it to EGL. I should try to dig it up.) But bottom line is if you felt uncomfortable, calling the cops would be a good idea...but I guess you had the attorney dude with ya. Still...CREEPY! *shivers*

(I'd totally be ok with beating a dude up because seriously, what guy is going to have the nuts to say he got his ass kicked by a chick in a frilly dress?) xD The cops would laugh in his face bahahaha.
