Hey everyone! So, here's the unavoidable. We're getting a bit more deeply into the plot. Unfortunately, we were a bit negligent to the date we'd assigned, so we're going to push it back a day.
Either way, it means an unfortunate thing for most of the characters. On June 26, at exactly 3:27-3:29 PM EST, there's going to be what seems like yet another earthquake (without the altitude drop) and the sound of rock splintering apart resounding across the campus. You see, that little bit of forest that's considered to be inside school grounds--along with the Lake of Seeing--will crumble off into the ocean. From that point on, though there are a few trees left, there's a sheer drop off of the island entirely. Within the hour, however, an NPC teacher will have placed a permanent invisible wall of mana across the new drop, so it's impossible to fall off, or to jump.
Now while this in and of itself could be a terrible thing for some of your characters (we're sorry, Aisling), there was another disaster. A curious (NPC) student got to the drop before the teacher did... and fell to his death. Some of you may know him, some of you may not--treat this piece of information as you will.
