my first response, too, after all those years in ACT-UP trying to oust the bastard. i don't like that it was my first response, but it's not all sunshine and puppy dogs, is it? he was a real force of hatred, and i'm happy to think his particular contribution is over.

Its a little sick but I pretended the fireworks last night were partially in celebration of his death.
