Yes and I know it's hard too. My granma stopped cold turkey after forty years and she did it but unfortunately it was already too late she found out a year later she had lung cancer.
Stress can cause a lot of relapses so can bordem I guess it's just a matter of will power and stubborness. Because even modern medicine hasn't helped much with kicking the habit.
Ah, I'm very sorry to hear about your grandmother. That's too bad. :(
I picked up a lot of bad habits from both my dad and the service. Unfortunately, smoking was one of them, and it's the last one I've yet to shake. Here's to hoping! :P Bad thing is, I tend to substitute a bad habit for another one. For instance, I was sleeping too much so I started pounding back the coffee, the energy drinks; now I hardly sleep and forget to eat because I'm full from the Monster, Red Bull, ect... I'm sure it's partly psychological, but still.
Man, I'm bored as all hell, too. That's how I'm doin'.
I fell in love with a song, though, today. I'm On A Boat by the Lonely Island. Stupid song, I'm sure you've heard it, but it's still cracking my shit up right this minute.

I've really cut down, though, only caving in for a couple when it gets bad. But a couple is one too many, ya know?

And I know I can stop, but I'm just anxious like, all the time. Nicotine seems to relieve that anxiety. At least for the moment. It's really bad.

I know you're anxious, but you can overcome this.
