The Park, Wednesday afternoon

Artie was out and about in the park with a butterfly net.

This might have something to do with those foul freaky feathered fiends, the ducks.

It also might have something to do with the fact that Mortimer, his buggy companion, is nowhere in sight.

It's Artie. Who knows, really?

Here comes Jude at full speed, using ducks, pedestrians, and just about everything else as an obstacle course. Oooh, bench. Time for a grind.

Or, you know, he could just hit the bench at full speed, miss the trick completely, and end up four feet away on his back.

Artie bounded over in his Artie-ish way. "Boy! Are you alright?"

"I'm fine, bro," Jude replied, peering up at him upsidedown. "Nice shirt." He chuckled, but he actually liked the shirt. Jude is incapable of sarcasm.

Honestly, if Jude were sarcastic, Artie might not notice.

He struck a heroic pose. "Why, thank you, little Viking! I find your hat delightful as well!"

Not quite ready to brave the actual town yet, Tim decided to check out the park. He told himself he would not compare it to Central Park.

Central Park might not have a guy in a titanium sweat suit bouncing around waving a giant butterfly net in the air and laughing.

On the other hand, it might.

Huh. Well that was different. Tim stopped to watch what in New York was either performance art, or, maybe this was how some of his adventures had looked to those who couldn't see the Fae.
