Yes, N.C., I know you don't think I'm a Christian. I know that since I don't do what you want me to, you feel as if you should call me down in the middle of class in front of everyone. But, you see, I struggle everyday with my faith. I struggle with right and wrong, and I figure things out for myself with God helping me, instead of just listening ( Read more... )

She wouldn't care if she didn't think you were a Christian. The point in her saying anything is to show you that somethings that you do are un-christian (which we all do un-Christlike things all the time. You're not being singled out, because a lot of the stuff that she's said to you has been said to me before, too) And part of being a 'christian' is helping each other by (for lack of better terms) calling each other out. If you see a godly person doing ungodly things, you are called to talk to them.

I'm not trying to pick on you or belittle what you are feeling, I'm just trying to show you it from her side. Our side. Whatever.

Called to challenge each other, build each other up, and help to solve each other's problems in a positive Christ-centered way. NOT to negatively criticize, tear down, and excommunicate.

Not that this applies to the situation. Just thought it was a generally important detail left out.
