I didn't have much interest in photos this month. However, once I finally arrived at my sister's house to visit with her and my parents, I found some inspiration. A good part of their day is spent napping, playing solitaire, reading and bird watching. Sounds dreadfully boring but I have to tell you, as far as time off of work goes I enjoyed the

I love taking bird pictures! These are wonderful. (I think my favorite though, is the cat. You can imagine that the bird in that picture was just out of sight of the camera...but not of the cat!)

My mom has a mulberry tree in her front yard, and every year, cedar waxwings descend on it in a huge flock to eat as many berries as they can. There are dozens, maybe even a hundred some years. It's amazing. And those two days are the only time we ever see them.
