The Sound of Music is on tv. It's amazing how I never tire of watching this movie considering the lack of emotional investment I have in the story and the characters. I dislike the love song maria and the captain sing. It really bothers me. I do like "the sound of music." The captain just joined the children in singing it

Yes, people who call themselves "sell outs" get on my nerves, too. C'mon, people get some imagination! it was this big family tradition all my life that we would watch the sound of music when it came on every year. this is weird only because we have no traditions otherwise, like we don't celebrate holidays or anything, and my mom totally doesn't watch movies at ALL. i guess the sound of music transcends all of that. anyway yea i'm always really entertained by it too.
