Everyone keeps having the same argument over and over.

Gays just want equal rights, and some straights don't want to give it to us. Not for any practical reason, but just because their sheer prejudice.

It would be better for everyone if the politicians would resolve it and move on. Once it is done, it will be forgotten by our opponents in less than six months.
