We had the most awesome air conditioning repair guys today. One was an older guy, who didn't charge us! And the other was a younger guy, who said something [to Amanda] about "metal shows" and I was like, WHAT?! And we started talking. It was great. He was nice. i went on a couple of dates with this vegan guy last month - he was super nice, but i think we're just going to be friends. if you ever come to visit me though i now know a really good vegan restaurant to take you to - i had polenta, it was really good. we will not get the 'cheese'cake though - i thought it tasted like mint, which it wasn't supposed to taste like. i tried making vegan brownies a couple of weeks ago - it was a disaster, but my friend amy really liked them anyways.

Cool! That's scary about the cheesecake, lol. I made brownies a couple of days ago. They turned out pretty well. So far everyone's liked them ("everyone" being about 5 of us, mostly nonveg*ns), not like they're the best but that they're decently good.
