Joy to the World

First, I cannot say enough about the love and support that you guys have given me the last few weeks. These have been some of the toughest weeks of my life, and knowing I had a group of people all around the world who were pulling for me was such a bright spot in the dark. It's nice to know you have someone in your corner.

I am feeling a little better today. Finally.
After a few million setbacks, we have finally figured out the car situation. We are going to buy Stephen's cousin's Explorer (plenty big enough for car seats) and we won't even have a car payment to deal with. Yayz! Driving my parents car has been another stress in my life, so it will be lovely to be done with all of this car crap.

It's 90% that I will have a job in the next few weeks. A disabled lady at our church needs an assistant to help with her household stuff and kids, and I can bring Kellan with me and Aidan if I need to at any time. Which means I can do something and not have to worry about childcare.
In conversation with a lady at church who told me about this job situation, I mentioned what a help that would be as things had been really tough the last few weeks. Within 48 hours, the church had swooped in with presents for my kids for Christmas, a catered meal for us (just because someone works at Panera and can) and a $300 gift card for food/gas, etc.
I am so blessed and humbled by the love and generosity we have been shown in the last few weeks, I can't begin to talk about it. I think my heart might have grown 3 sizes. : )

It also was nice to be with my mom at the store today. She and my dad decided to by presents for kids from the angel tree instead of for each other this year. Stephen's a-hole boss gave everyone a $40 bonus this year, and I was able to toss it in with her to get stuff for those little girls. With SO MUCH being done for us, I felt like I should do something for someone else and it was pretty fantastic to feel like Stephen's boss would be generous in spite of himself.

Anyway, how is everyone?
Also, I am a loser but I finally got our Christmas cards ordered (free!!) and will be sending them, despite the fact that they will be late. Comments will be screened, so if you would like a card from my family, please comment with your address.
