Yeah Kaqimax made a comment the other day that had me thinking, yeah why are Men's underwear so unappealing? She said this as i was wearing my american boxer briefs as i lounged around the evening (after a shower, its not like I walk around in them all the time). You want some really fancy/nice men's underwear? Go to Skivvies on West 5th. Absurdly great selection, with things that are light-years ahead of what you'll find at any regular clothing store.
