On the way home last night- I passed by "Spud's" restaurant. Underneath the huge neon sign advertising their unappetizing name they had put up a sign to remember to book valentine's day reservations. I have trouble believing any guy would be stupid enough to make a valentine's day romantic dinner reservation at Spud's.

If that was "Spud's" in Lynn/Saugus http://www.spudsrestaurant.net/, then I know it well. My grandparents lived nearby and frequented that establishment regularly. After my grandmother died, it became my grandfather's weekly Sunday dinner destination. Not a great name, but really nice people who took great care of my Grampy until he passed away, and they served good enough, moderately-priced fare.
