Work has been really boring; so I'm glad I get to do something fun and more exciting, like kennels, over the weekend. I think Drew (my cat) is going to need to have her remaining four teeth removed. Her gums are beginning to recess and turn red. I've been working this weekend. Since I have a lot more free time without Melanie around now, I've been spending extra time at the kennels brushing the dogs. No more Melanie. She had a stroke last night, I called the vet's ER number and they told me just to wait until 8a to take her in. I did, we hooked her up to an oxygen mask and gave her drugs; to no avail. After three hours and no improvement, I decided to give her better dreams. I don't know why it hurts so much. I keep getting email telling me to click on it and give them my account number, atm card number and pin # for a bank account i don't even have. Right...do I look that stupid? Had a good weekend at Roy's. Left this morning when he left for work. Mom and her brother, Wolf, are gone too. I had the weekend off from the kennels. I just got out of the shower and plan to take Melanie out and about as soon as my hair dries a bit. Talk about weird. After doing afternoon kennels today (Melanie was with me--she always goes), I decided to stop at the beach and let Mel play fetch in the lake. She's only been swimming in the rivers around here, so I thought it'd be a nice change. Monday, I was off from class & work and Tonya, Roy, Christine and I went canoeing on the Brule. Roy and I in one canoe, Tonya and Christine in the other.
