she was waiting for my references to get back to her, and only one had gotten back (a guy i used to work for back in 2001-02), and as soon as she hung up with him, she called me and offered it to me.

if you manage to call her back soon, she might invite you to visit. :-) (she invited one of my other references up when he called and apologised profusely. hehe.)
and maybe we can meet up sometimes. it took an insanely long time to get to whole foods in princeton. i'll have to find a different route. driving through the university area was awful.
maybe when scott comes up while i'm house sitting, you and chris can come over to play some board games. (if it doesn't overlap with the france trip, of course)

and there'll be 2 instances where i'll be house sitting. the latter of which is likely to begin mid august. (it all depends on when the baby decides to come. i hope (s)he decides to come at least by august 10th, cause she said she'd like to spend 3 weeks with her family and the new addition. as for the first part that she'd be away, i think she said she'd be away the end of july. so she might be gone for the whole month of august depending on how things pan out.)
she also has contacted bakeries in the area (since she said she'd only be able to offer me up to 30 hrs a week for $100), so i might be able to gain baking experience too.
