So I won the Coffee Break from C100 this morning but was waiting in line at Tim's on Spring Garden when my coffee was dropped off. Some nice lady in another office up here held it for me until I got in. Fun stuff! I've had three cups of coffee since 9:30...oh dear me ( Read more... )

I had forgot that you lived on Larch... Are you closer to Coburg or Jubilee? On the Jubilee end of the street there has been construction going on for the majority of the summer in a basement apartment on the Oxford side of the street (as opposed to the Robie side)...They dug out the basement, made a lot of noise... Anyway, are there still carpenters running around there? still a dumpster outside? does it look finished? does it look like my apartment will be ready for september first??

thank you in advance for answering as many of these questions as you possibly can because I dont want to be homeless in 6 days..lol

That's directly across from my now apartment and beside where my roomies are moving for September. My friends Nick and Anna live in the apartment above it.
There are still people working on it, but I don't hear noise in the morning anymore and the dumpster is gone.
I can't see why they shouldn't be able to finish it, they've been working on it for long enough, keeping the block awake in th early hours!

oh, ok, well I have a set too that I got last summer from my grandfather that we can use and break.

I won't be free until at least Wednesday of next week to discuss apartment and I hear Denise isn't moving in until the 6th. Wanna come up on the 2nd and go see Dave play in a battle of the bands at Pitchman's for your birthday!?
