It's always the portals, isn't it? Well, it wasn't the first time I came here, but still. Every other time has been portals. And you can dress it up like a door, but I can still tell. I mean, it's a little obvious when it's just sitting in the middle of a room.

Anyway, to anyone who's listening? I'm going to try to stay, because I'm happy ( Read more... )

This stupid city! It's kicking me out, I think. But like I said, I'll be back. You know me, when I get determined about these things, I don't let up.

Nonsense. Which room are you in?

The computer room. [ which is to say, the sitting room she takes her computer to when she's planning to work on it for awhile- it has a comfy couch. ] I- I don't really want to get near the portal, they have a sort of tendency towards extremely deep gravity wells. And I'm not sure I want you getting near it, either, just in case it isn't tuned just to me.

I guess I should be glad it didn't just yank me out, but the whole ominous door thing isn't really that nice, either.

I'd rather not say, actually. I don't think it's LA or San Antonio.

Penny, I don't want to go.

No, you've got that right. I'm not really a native. I came here after I died.
