I can't believe the number of people I know who actually want to be on a jury. When I got summoned three years ago, I was like, "Aw, man, this sucks!" but when I wrote about it in my journal, peolpe were like, "Dude, I'm so jealous!" Luckily all the cases I thought I would have to sit in on were settled before they could go to trial, so I never actually had to go. There was just this two-month period where I would've have to go if they called me.
