Long time no see.
Wow, it's been one year to the date since my last post. I've been so wrapped up in Facebook and my 2 jobs that I've had no time to rant about my shows. But it's season premiere time and I feel an extra need to speak my mind, for I am extremely frustrated with this season's premieres, and this is my favorite place to vent.
MONDAY NIGHT:
-My normal Monday night comedies returned and were all great as usual. The new show Mike and Molly did impress me I'll say, but I can't see it lasting too long. Eventually they will run out of fat jokes.
TUESDAY NIGHT:
-NCIS returned and still no Tony and Ziva making out or admitting that they've been seeing each other since Paris, so my anxiety continues.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT:
-I had to choose between Survivor, America's Next Top Model and Hell's Kitchen because my dvr can only record 2 shows at a time. Hell's Kitchen lost. Top Model continues to be my guilty pleasure and I always gotta pick Survivor. This season tho, omg, the survivors are annoying me to no end. I mean really?! "Oh my god, I never thought this would be so hard" (that's what she said). I mean do these people ever watch this show. #1 Don't act like an idiot at tribal counsel, you'll get voted out, examples: Wendy and Shannon. #2 Why are you worried about voting out people week 2, just because you don't want to be in the final 2 with them, really?! it's week 2, you really shouldn't be worried about that. #3 Don't steal people's stuff, what is wrong with you?! And omg, Jimmy Johnson is obnoxious, everything is a football game to him, well guess what coach, it's not!
-Law & Order SVU, creepy as usual.
THURSDAY NIGHT:
-Big Bang Theory, new night, still awesome.
-Bones, wow, where do I start? Everyone is able to just drop everything and run back home to the Jeffersonian to save Cam from being fired, because that's realistic. Angela and Hodgins are gonna having a baby and I hate when babies are brought into shows, totally ruined CSI NY. Now everyone is gonna just go back to working together again like nothing changed, again very realistic. And of course I hate that Booth has a girlfriend, maybe just maybe, we'll get to see some jealous Bones.
-The Office was pretty good, as usual, but all I keep thinking about is how they are gonna write Michael off the show and who's gonna replace him, just like how I will spend this season of Smallville wondering how they are gonna end it all this season.
-CSI, wow, Nicky cried again as usual, then recovering from getting shot, he gets blown up and then poof back to work like nothing happened, cue more crying, post traumatic stress, Catherine trying to make him feel better, reference Warrick, I could write this show. P.S. Justin Bieber was a very convincing creepy kid. To be continued, of course, what would season premieres be without one.
FRIDAY NIGHT:
-Smallville was pretty good, but a lot is going on at once and the test tube Lexs were a little much for me. Again, I wonder how they are gonna end the series at the end of this season.
-CSI NY, first off, how realistic was it that Shane Casey survived that fall from the lighthouse, let alone then go and break into Danny and Lindsay's house? Not likely, but whatever, he's dead now, Lindsay shot him, or at least we think that's what happened. And another shocker, Lindsay is traumatized! But my biggest peeve of the entire week, what happened with Stella?!?! So she left the show, I read that in spoilers but how about give the fans some closure, I mean hello, she's just gone and no one knows why. She's in New Orleans, but why, why did she leave, why did she choose New Orleans? Did they just decide, hey screw the fans, they don't need answers, it's not like Stella was a main character or anything, who by the way, I really liked and am pissed she's off the show. Thank you CSI NY for #1 bringing a baby on to the show and then #2 getting rid of Stella, boooooo!!!!
Oh and in case you missed the best part of season premieres...
