Dean is so ridiculous when hes talking about/hitting on girls. "I remembered that you love surprises" Really Dean?
I think they might have gone a little overboard with Ben, that being said I want him to be my kid. And Dean doing the math in his head and crashing into the garbage can was totally worth it.
I fucking LOVE Ruby. The tall guy comment, I love her. I'm sorry, you can cry Mary Sue all you want, but she's fucking awesome. More about that later.
I really loved the scene in the park with Ben and Dean. I loved that Dean taught him his trademark look-away thing. Aaand Dean's face when he kicked the other kid, how he looked around before laughing. I love Dean. So very much.
The mother killing the girl...loved it! Because you knew she was going to survive and it was just kinda cool to see. I think they did a really good job of making the kids super-creepy.
Ok Dean giving the Lisa the credit card? Seriously desperate, but still kinda awesome. Also, I love that a girl slamming a door in Dean's face doesn't phase him at all.
I totally did not see it coming that the realtor was the changeling-mother thing, and I kinda wish they did have to go and kill all the "kids" because that's just terrible. Ben stepping up and helping the other kids was totally predictable, but also totally awesome.
I really loved the scene with Dean and Lisa at the end, and Dean realizing that he's never going to get to be a father and obviously wanting to. I was hoping that he would have the big "OMG I'm going to die!" melt down in this episode, but I realize that that would be stupid...ofcourse they're going to drag it out and let it build. So I'm excited.
I KNEW something was up with Mary, but this is very interesting because Sam was investigating deaths that happened in '01 and '06. This changes the Mary was a special kid theory, and also the wording Ruby used - "to cover up what he did to you"...what did the YED do to Sam? How much did Mary know? And did she tell her friends? And did John know about this? He must have known most of those people... I can't handle this. I want to know NOW!
Ok, so I accidentally read a tiny spoiler about Ruby, so I wasn't as shocked as I could have been when we found out she was a demon. But this whole demon-fighting demon thing brings up some interesting questions. Why is she so interested in Sam, but also, she must be possessing someone right? That's pretty fucked up. I did love Sam yelling at her. Little side note, but it really set the tone for the fact that men and women are equal on this show. He wasn't afraid to get all up in her face because she's a girl. So she can help Sam with the Dean thing, but what does she want from Sam? And I'm not gonna lie, I'm a total slasher but Sam/Ruby? Kinda hot. It's the whole Luke/Mara thing...kinda. But then again, she is a demon and he's fucking his brother so it would probably never work out..
Speaking of Wincest, I was really hoping for a good end of the episode Sam and Dean reflection moment, but it'll come later I guess. I wonder how much they're going to share about their adventures, if anything.
Ok one more thing. Kripke and co. are always bitching about how the studio is always bitching that they want the show to be brighter, but you really have to keep in mind that it's usually raining and cloudy when they're filming. I do love the episodes in the beginning of the season, because they're filmed over the summer and the outdoor scenes are usually a lot brighter. But as Kripke has said, it's horror show, it's supposed to be dark. On the other hand, Jared and Jensen look pretty in the sun. Ok I'm done.
