Are you there God?
It's me, the girl who is very nervous about your presence in her favorite show...
But I will say that this week's episode may have had the best title ever.
So I have to admit I was kind of ambivalent about this one. It was NOT a bad episode and I didn't NOT like it...it just didn't really do it for me I guess.
There were definitely some awesome moments - Dean asleep while Sam was driving! C'mon, how cute was that? AND then Dean letting Sam sleep on the couch while he took the floor? And the pie! LOL! [Although let's not kill that joke, ok writers?]
I'm just not all that interested in the epic battle of good vs. evil that's unfolding. I'm a little nervous about the whole God and angels thing but I TOTALLY trust the writers and I'm sure they're going to do it in a way that is really cool. I also realize that this episode mainly served two purposes: One - to follow up and answer some of the questions from the premier, and two - to set up the overall plot-line for the rest of the season. I just wish there was a little more Sam and Dean doing their own thing and a little less Sam, Dean, and Bobby teaming up to combat the forces of evil. Not that I don't love Bobby! I completely agree with Dean - he's awesome! But this ep was really lacking in the Sam and Dean department.
And I honestly think that this whole SEASON might be kind of lacking in that department. I mean obviously they're both sort of moving in different directions right now - what with Sam all working with a demon and Dean being chosen by the lord and everything. I just feel like they have a lot of reasons to keep secrets from each other. Although this could have some seriously awesome potential! I can not WAIT for Dean to find out that Sam lied to him! I love it when they fight.
So we'll see. Just please don't take away ALL of the chick-flick moments. Cause I love them.
A few other things - I did really love the idea of all these people they couldn't save coming back to kill them, but I prefer my ghosts a little scarier. I miss the days when I would watch SPN and be paralyzed with fear!
Oh, and Castiel is turning out to be pretty awesome. I need a Castiel icon.
