I can't even understand the thought process of this idea. It's just dumb and ploy-ish.

And what about new series? I can't imagine restarting Superboy at #1 if it's one of the series that's continuing. And I can't imagine why they would cancel an Eisner nominated book.

I'm now being told that it's because of the Superman lawsuit... DC could lose all rights to everything Superman related, including Superman's old look, which is why DC changed it to this.
