I think it's raining harder than I've ever seen it rain. I got on the bus leaving work at 6:15. About twenty minutes later it started to rain. Within fifteen minutes, the streets were flooding. I got off the bus and waded through water as much as a foot, maybe a foot and a half deep. I'm scared.

Wait, is this in Madison? I didn't know they got lots of rain. I know your post isn't optimistic in tone, but I immediately imagined you and Zajj building a raft and floating around huck finn style which made me smile.

Too bad I'm in Ohio for the week... where the skies have also opened up to dump. Someone left the windows open... so perhaps we should get a raft for the apartment.
